Paris 2007

our last stop with the tour bus ride.. Paris.. the capital city of France.

The last time I went here was when I was a child, couldn't really remember a thing other than the Eiffel tower and Monalisa painting by Leonardo Da Vinci.

We went to watch the broadway show Moulin Rouge, dancing topless ladies (I bet that I was the youngest at that time who was able to get in). and my aunt's best friend brought us to a terrific gelato place, we ordered delicious gelatos and sorbets, and I regret for not taking pictures of those delicacies...( _ _ )..........o

But I took pictures of some of the famous spots in Paris... (^○^)/

Paris 2007/05/20 - 2007/05/22

After the Monaco palace, we went to pay a visit to the Palace of Versailles, where they shoot the movie Marie Anoinette at.
This was a silly picture of my brother after we went to a restaurant that gave us free 'Indian crown' paper hat - supposedly for the children. Assuming himself as the 'King of France' on his way to the palace.

We didn't go into the palace cause of the long queue but we went around the garden of the palace which was MONSTROUS. It came to my thought of why did the citizens hate the royals so much at that time judging from the extravagant size of the garden palace itself, created from the tax they paid.
It was Hugggeeeeee.........w(゚ロ゚;w(゚ロ゚)w;゚ロ゚)w
Unfortunately, I lost plenty of those beautiful garden pictures, and this was just the only one that I found (。-_-)ノ

Another thing that I remember was when they said that there were no bathrooms in the palace nor the garden in that era. The royals and people in it never had a shower (not sure how did they do their 1st and 2nd businesses), so the French invented perfume to cover their body odor.
This is just another random picture of the statue in the garden, with a bird on top of it.

We took a train down to Champs Elysées, supposedly the most famous & prestigious avenue in the whole world

my parents in front of the Arc de triomphe de l'Étoile monument

Came across to a beautiful building that night which is the Hôtel de Ville (and again my lens not able to fit in the whole building as usual) ヽ(´Д`ヽ)

Does this ring the bell??? ヽ(^0^)♪ Yes indeedy, yes indeedy... It's the Notre Dame cathedral, where Disney once made a cartoon out of it.

Paris by night ★

The Eiffel Tower, there were sparkling lights all over the tower just before I took a picture of it.
