Los Angeles 2012

Last year, my parents, Rania, and I went to the United States of America for a vacation during the Eid al-Ftr Ramadhan holiday. Our first stop was the City of Los Angeles often known by its initials L.A., which is the most populous city in the U.S. state of California. The performing arts play a major role in Los Angeles' cultural identity. It is often billed as the "Creative Capital of the World", due to the fact that one in every six of its residents works in a creative industry. The city is filled with artists, writers, filmmakers, actors, dancers and musicians living and working in Los Angeles more than any other city at any time in the history of civilization.

Main courses in the airplane.. I swear I was actually already gaining weight before even reaching the U.S.  。≠( ̄〜 ̄ )

Doane, my dad's acquaintance brought us to Sprinkles cupcakes bakery, cause he was craving for it, by chance I was too. My mom and I love Sprinkles cupcakes so much, that we bought a dozen of cupcakes. See how pretty and neat the packaging box and the forks designs are. FYI, Sprinkles now opens in Kuwait.. I'm so jealous!!  σ(TεT;)

Passed by a Rodeo Drive plastic surgery plank  w( ̄Д ̄ w

so we took pictures with it haha...  (o⌒.⌒o)

We went to Rodeo Drive which is a shopping district known for designer label and haute couture fashion in Beverly Hills.

The name generally refers to a three-block long stretch of boutiques and shops but the street stretches further north and south.

Our dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. The restaurant's signature is serving USDA prime steaks that are seared at 1800° Fahrenheit (982.2 °C) and served on ceramic plates heated to 500° Fahrenheit (260.0 °C). Half an ounce (1 Tbsp) of butter is added just before the plates leave the kitchen in order to create the signature 'sizzle'. I ordered the petite filet, Doane, my parents, and Rania ordered the T-bone steaks which were exceptionally tasty. And we also ordered the Creamed Spinach which is chopped spinach in a New Orleans style cream sauce and the fresh asparagus with Hollandaise. !o(⌒囗⌒)oΨ

The very next day we went to Disneyland, here's a picture of me wearing the Goofy cap  \(○^ω^○)/

I wasn't feeling quite well at that time  σ(--#) , so we went to the restaurant at the hotel to have our lunch and took a little rest from walking. The food were great!

Toy Story Zoetrope!

Instead of using traditional, one-dimensional drawings, the Toy Story Zoetrope features 3-D figures of characters from the Disney·Pixar film Toy Story 2 mounted on spinning disks. As the disks whirl under a flashing strobe light, the characters appear to come to life right before your eyes!  へへ(^^ )

Encircling Disneyland and providing a grand circle tour is the Disneyland Railroad (DRR), a short-line railway consisting of five oil-fired and steam-powered locomotives. Originally known as the Disneyland and Santa Fe Railroad

The view from the DRR, you can see fun shaped trees there  ( ^-^)o-

Doane and his friend brought us to a really nice Japanese restaurant for dinner ( ̄〜; ̄)

We were very full but they insisted that we should try this very famous tea house among the Asians that sells good boba (tapioca pearls) dessert called Half and Half. Doane and his friend ordered us the Iced Milk drink with caramel, coffee jelly, pudding and honey boba which was half cold and half warm. I was quite surprised at how big the size of the cup was. No regrets on going there  (○^∇^)_旦~~♪

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone  (* ̄ω ̄)_凸
